The Starmus Festival – Tenerife

The recent Starmus Festival in Tenerife was like an astronomer’s Woodstock.  You had to be there to understand.  People who attended are still shell-shocked from the truly amazing experience that was Starmus.  Well done Garik Israelian – you really pulled off a biggy there 🙂

    Here’s a correction for the Earth Science Picture of the Day entry – that’s astronaut Apollo 11 Buzz Aldrin in the photo of guests, not Neil Armstrong.

    Thank you Barbara. If you read the Earth Science Picture of the Day entry it says that Neil Armstrong was an attendee – not that he was in the photo (which as you rightly point out – he isn’t 🙂 )
