Cheers Dave – the short answer is I don’t 🙂 I fire everything up, open up the aperture and then retire indoors to the study to drive everything from the warm. Actually, it is so tight in the observatory that it would be pretty dangerous being in there with the Paramount chucking 95-pounds of gear all over the place.
Yes, being nice and warm is preferable to spending your time dodging 95lbs.
