I made a composite image out of 2 lots of data of the Markarian Chain region taken using the Hyperstar 4 on a C11 with an ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS camera. This composite gives a total imaging time of 4.7 hours on the Hyperstar 4 rig. When I zoomed into the image to check there weren’t any nasties lurking in the background – I came across what I thought was a lens flare. Look in the 2 o’clock position from “The Eyes” in the zoomed in image. Glad I didn’t clone out the flare as it is actually IC3355. In all the images I’ve taken of this region I have never noticed that one before.
