The day after I took the Altair left hand frame it was clear again – but with a lot of thin high cloud. Never mind I’ll still image just to keep the kit running over. Decided I would go for Sadr as it had passed the Meridian and was in a good position for me. Managed to get 8 x 15-minute subs with the 200mm lenses and the ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras. As expected, bloated stars and a general fuzzy image – BUT – this has huge potential for a very nice image if I can get a nice clear Moonless night. So this one is definitely next on the list for the 200mm lenses.
