To see if the polar alignment was up to it I took 3 x half hour subs of the Deneb region with mini-WASP camera 2 – looks like the polar alignment is good enough (but I need to tweak it more I know). As these were only test shots amounting to one and a half hours total exposure I wasn’t expecting much from the data. But Noel Carboni pulled out all the stops on this one and produced what is a pretty decent image given the lack of data. Now if only I taken 8-hours worth of data 🙂
