SAO 132035 an S-Type star (s 4,1) Just East of Rigel
The star at centre is SAO 132035 a (very red) s-type star lying just to the east of Rigel. As per usual there’s a nice blue star close-by to the bright red star

Reprocess of all Hyperstar on all Sky90 Data – Median Mix in Registar
Another reprocess of the Rosette data – all the Hyperstar data was overlaid on all the Sky90 data using Registar and a mean/median mix.

Sirius – The Brightest Star in the Sky
Out of all my bright, single star images, I think this one is my favourite. Sirius – the brightest star in the sky. Two-frame (vertical) mosaic with camera in landscape mode. 3 x Sky90 refractors and 3 x M26C (non-Trius) … Continue reading

Star Reduced Deep Pleiades
Star reduction does a nice job on a deep Sky90 image of the Pleiades.

Composite IC410/IC405 Nebulae in Auriga
And a last reprocess (maybe) on this one too. This is around 12-hours of Sky90 data added to 10-hours and 40-minutes of 200mm lens data giving a composite image of the IC410/IC405 region in Auriga – a total (composite) exposure … Continue reading
Composite California Nebula
I added 16-hours of Sky90 data (which added to the bright nebula core) to the 8-hours of 200mm data (which provided the only data for the faint “nose”) to get this result.
Update on the Configuration of the Sky90 Array
Having proved the efficacy of the utterly superb Optolong L-Enhance filters on the 200mm lenses (with ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras) – it was clearly time to fit the same thing to my Sky90s (with Trius M26C OSC CCDs). 2 … Continue reading

Composite Rosette nebula
This image is a composite of Sky90 and Hyperstar 4 data only.
The Heart of the Rose
This is the central region of the Rosette nebula. This is a composite image created using RegiStar and comprises original Hyperstar, Sky90 and Hyperstar 4 data exceeding 15-hours of total exposure time.
