The IC2087 Region in Taurus
Lots of Taurus Molecular Cloud dust in this one taken using the 200mm lenses and the ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras on the MiniWASP array. This image comprises 26 x 15-minute subs and could do with at least the same … Continue reading
Larger Field of View Flaming Star Nebula
Here is a larger field of view of the Flaming Star nebula region taken on the 200mm lenses, without stars.
Gamma Cass
I put the 200mm lenses (and Optolong L-enhance filters with the 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras) onto the Gamma Cassiopei nebula last night. Because of gremlins I only managed to get 10 x 20-minute subs when I should have had 42 … Continue reading
Veil Nebula – All the Data I Have
This image of the Veil nebula in Cygnus incorporates all the data I have on the object. So this image includes Hyperstar III on the C11 data, Sky90 (2-frame mosaic including narrowband) data, and the Canon 200mm lenses with the … Continue reading
The Veil nebula in Cygnus
This is a composite image comprising 8-hours of 20-minute subs taken last night on the Canon 200mm prime lenses, together with a 32-hour 2-framer taken on a single Sky90 including Ha and OIII narrowband data. It still needs a LOT … Continue reading
MiniWASP Statrep
For some totally unknown reason I don’t think I’ve published the latest (stable?) incarnation of the MiniWASP array. So here it is! The lower section of the MiniWASP (the black Aluminium box housing) contains 3 x Sky90s and top right … Continue reading
The Sadr Region of Cygnus
I had my first imaging session of the new season on the array last night using the 200mm lenses and the ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras. The bright star Sadr sits in the centre and it also sits with … Continue reading
From M42 to M78
Only 2 x 20-minute subs with the 200mm lenses – but it shows the way to proceed with this one. Obviously a 20-minute sub is way too long for M42, but just fine for the Horsehead region. So a fair … Continue reading
Stunning Sirius
I managed to get 22 x 2-minute subs using the Canon 200mm prime lenses and the ASI 2600MC Pro OSC CMOS camera on beautiful Sirius last night. Given the bright Moon overhead I am very pleased at the final result. … Continue reading
29-hours of IC410/IC405 Data
I put together the 72 x 15-minute subs (UV/IR cut) and 30 x 20-minute subs (L-Enhance) taken on the 200mm lenses with the L-Enhance and UV/IR cut filters – and then took away all the stars to get this result.
