This week we feature the Coathanger Cluster using only the 200mm lenses with the ASI 2600MC Pro CMOS cameras. The wide field really puts the cluster into perspective.
This cluster has a very special place in my memory. I first came across it scanning the pristine dark skies of Dartmoor with my 10 X 50 Boots binoculars. I knew nothing about this cluster, and being young with zero astronomical experience/knowledge – I even wondered if I had discovered something new. Such innocent (ignorant?) days – now long gone.
