This time you’ll find us on page 84 with an image of Messier 52 and The Bubble Nebula.

Both of the these were shot single frame using the Hyperstar and SXV-H9C.  Also, on the CD ROM you’ll find the two frame Hyperstar mosaic of M33 in Triangulum.

Sky at Night Magazine are publishing our Pelican 5-frame Hyperstar mosaic on page 84.  We are really pleased with how this image has turned out - it took a few attempts at processing before we were happy with the results.  All images were taken using the Hyperstar/SXV-H9C combination - the Pelican using 5-frames, the Cave and Double Cluster being single frames.

On the CD ROM you’ll also find 3 images:

  1. The Pelican region in colour
  2. The central region of the Double Cluster in Perseus
  3. The Cave Nebula.

The images are shown below for good measure :-)

This is a great magazine and they have picked our image of Messier 51.  You’ll find our picture in issue 3, page 82.  The image was taken at f#6.3 on the Celestron Nexstar 11 GPS reflector as a single frame using the SXV-H9C one-shot colour camera.  This was only 20 minutes total exposure using 200 second subs.
